RESEARCH LOG 001

PROJECT VEGA

Author: Dr. Elias Hart

Status: Active

Access Level: Internal

Over the last three years, this archive has grown far beyond what I ever expected it to become. What began as a simple investigation into a crashed object has turned into something much larger,

something that has consumed nearly every part of my life. If you have followed these files from the beginning, then you already know the story. You know about the object that entered Earth's atmosphere and was dismissed as a meteorite. You know about the wreckage that contained technology no one could explain. You know about the black box recording that should not have existed and the voice that spoke from within it.

Her voice.

The voice of someone who called herself Vega.

At first, I believed there had to be a rational explanation. I spent months searching for one. I examined every fragment recovered from the crash site, compared the materials against every known database, and reviewed the recordings countless times. Every answer I found only created more questions. The technology was unlike anything developed on Earth. The language patterns contained structures that appeared completely foreign. Most importantly, the stories contained within the recordings remained consistent no matter how many times I analyzed them.

Vega described a world called Asterra, a civilization built around Core Lights, where stars were more than distant objects in the sky. She spoke of constellations as communities, of people disappearing without explanation, and of entire sections of the night sky vanishing as if they had never existed. At first it sounded impossible, but as more recordings surfaced and more evidence was recovered, the impossible became increasingly difficult to ignore.

I tried to bring these discoveries to the proper authorities. Every report was dismissed. Every request for funding was denied. Files disappeared. Evidence was misplaced. People who had once shown interest suddenly refused to discuss the subject at all. The more I pushed, the more resistance I encountered. Eventually I realized that if I wanted answers, I would have to find them myself.

That decision led to the creation of this archive.

Everything I recovered was documented here. Every recording. Every fragment. Every observation. As the investigation continued, new pieces of the story emerged. Vega was not simply a survivor of a crash. She had been fleeing something. The disappearances she described were real. The missing stars were real. Whatever was happening in Asterra had followed her across unimaginable distances, and somehow her journey ended here on Earth.

For a long time, I believed the crash site was the end of her story.

I was wrong.

Over the past several months, I began finding anomalies that could not be explained by the original wreckage alone. Signals appeared in locations far from the impact zone. Witness reports surfaced describing individuals who matched details found within the recordings. Most were dead ends, but not all of them. Patterns began to emerge. Locations connected to one another. Timelines aligned. Every lead pointed toward the same conclusion.

Vega survived.

Not only did she survive, but she has been here all along. Hidden.

Watching. Trying not to be found.

At first I questioned my own conclusions. After everything that had happened, paranoia seemed more likely than success. But the evidence continued to accumulate. Surveillance footage. Unexplained energy readings. Testimonies from people who encountered someone matching her description before she vanished again. Each discovery brought me closer than the last.

Then, three days ago, I found something I cannot ignore.

A signal.

Not from the wreckage.

Not from the archive.

A live signal.

The frequency matches the recovered technology almost perfectly. The source has moved several times, but every transmission originates within a limited area. For the first time since this investigation began, I am no longer chasing fragments of the past. I am tracking

someone who is still here.

Someone who knows she is being followed.

Someone who has been changing locations faster than I can reach them.

Someone who appears to be deliberately hiding her identity.

I have spent years searching for proof that Vega was real. Years

collecting evidence that nobody else would believe. Years trying to understand what happened to her after the crash and why she disappeared. Now I finally have an answer. Tomorrow I am going to the source of the signal. If these coordinates are correct, then this investigation is over.

I think I found her.
